Minesh qualified as a dentist from Queen Mary University of London in 2022. After completing his vocational training in Derby, he began working full-time as a general dentist at Katherine’s Place. He has gained extensive experience in all fields of dentistry and developed a keen interest in cosmetic, aesthetic, and restorative dentistry. Minesh finds dentistry exciting due to its ever-expanding opportunities for further study, skill enhancement, and personal development.

Minesh treats a plethora of patients, including both adults and children. He particularly enjoys working with nervous patients, helping them feel heard, relaxed, and comfortable, gradually building their confidence in the dental setting. His goal is to provide the highest possible standards of care to all his patients.

Outside of the surgery, Minesh loves traveling to new countries and immersing himself in their cultures, food, and traditions. He also has a passion for playing sports and watching Formula 1.

Manisha joined our practice in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of dentistry. She is passionate about providing a comprehensive range of treatments, with a particular focus on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Additionally, she is a certified Invisalign provider, offering patients a cutting-edge solution for teeth alignment.

Manisha recently expanded her skills by undergoing training in facial aesthetics under the guidance of Dr Bob Khanna. This enables her to offer anti-wrinkle treatments and lip fillers, enhancing her ability to provide a holistic approach to patient care. Her warm and gentle approach helps to alleviate any concerns or anxieties that patients may have, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.

Outside of dentistry, Manisha enjoys baking and is an avid hiker, demonstrating her well-rounded interests and active lifestyle.

Sheena has been practising dentistry for over 10 years having graduated with BDS from the University of Manchester in 2009. Following this, she completed an additional year of training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This, and her subsequent experience as a general dentist, has provided her with an in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the expert diagnosis, management and treatment of lacerations, facial and dental trauma, dental emergencies, extractions, and oral lesions and conditions. Her work as a family dentist gives her the exposure to carry out a wide variety of treatments which she very much enjoys. She has a special interest in the cosmetic side of dentistry and can therefore offer composite bonding, short term removable orthodontics such as Inman Aligner and veneers.

Sheena is well known for providing patients with smile makeover options which are minimally invasive and involve little to no drilling, something which is always well received. Importantly, she is always looking to offer more treatment options for the patients and in view of this, has completed foundation and advanced courses in anti-wrinkle injections and fillers and can work with you to provide excellent aesthetic results. Sheena takes pleasure in meeting and interacting with new patients, building, fostering and maintaining our relationships, and transforming smiles!

Outside work, Sheena enjoys spending quality time with her family. They all love to stay active, particularly outdoors, and travel both closer to home and abroad.  Every summer in Scotland, she takes pleasure in some uninterrupted family time and hikes around the nearby hills and lochs come rain or shine (more often rain than shine)!

Sandra is a highly experienced Dental Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. 

Melanie is the practice manager and has worked in dentistry since 2002. She qualified in 2005 with Merit in Dental Nursing and has worked in general cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and with specialists in oral surgery, endodontics and periodontics. She passed her dental radiography exam in 2007 and although spends most of her days in an admin-based role, also enjoys a day of nursing.

In her free time she likes to spend time taking her two children to various sporting clubs and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
